Jazz and Blues by the Bay is one of the summer’s highlights in Marin, running on Friday evenings from June 1 to August 24 at Gabrielson Park on the waterfront at Humboldt Avenue and Anchor Street. While organized by the Parks and Recreation Department of Sausalito, each performance is also sponsored by local groups. The concerts and lawn seating are free, but it’s wise to arrive an hour or so early to be assured of a spot on the lawn. Tables and chairs are available by reservation for the concerts, too. Call 415-289-4152.

Parking can be difficult in downtown Sausalito, so this year the Sausalito Yacht Harbor Lot will be available for $5; attendants will be on hand. Follow the arrows on this map to locate it.
Newcomers to the concerts may not be aware of how chilly it can
get from the wind and fog by the water, so it’s advised to dress in
and t-shirts will be available for purchase, as well as fleece
and nylon stadium blankets.
